A lash lift restructures your existing natural lashes by curling them from the root — nothing is added to the eye. Lash extensions attach individual synthetic fibres to each natural lash for length and volume. Keep lashes completely dry for the first 24–48 hours — no swimming, steaming, saunas, or submerging the face in the shower. The disulfide bonds inside the lashes are still chemically re-forming during this window, and any moisture disrupts the neutralising process, causing the curl to relax or drop unevenly before it has fully set. After 48 hours, normal water contact is safe. Avoid oil-based removers and waterproof mascara for the full 6–8 week lifespan.

Lash damage from a lift is caused by over-processing (too long in solution for that lash type), re-lifting too soon, or using oil-based makeup removers daily. Natural lashes shed and regrow on their own 6–8 week cycle — any processed lashes grow out and are replaced by a fresh, untreated set naturally.

Yes — after the 24–48 hour dry period, you can wear mascara. Use water-based or tubing formulas only. Waterproof mascara requires oil-based products for effective removal, and oil breaks down the chemical bonds holding your lift — shortening its lifespan significantly. A lash tint done in the same session at Golden Ratio gives a mascara-like depth, so most clients find they do not need mascara during the 6–8 week result window.
